Upgraded Tablesaw Sled with Miter attachment.
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
I have had my original sled for over 12 yrs. I saw this idea by Nick Ferry on YouTube and Loved it.A good friend was in town from Vegas so we built 2 of them. The hardware and supplies add up quickly as far as costs, but what a great tool for the shop. Used Kreg hardware throughout, did the five cut method and got the fence at .0002 at 24 inches.Miters are dead on 90 degees making picture frames effortless. Baltic birch, sprayed with lacquer and waxed bottom. I'll keep older sled for dadoes. Here is the link, Thx for looking.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtwK9X8o1Gw&list=PLu1gFi0JQnkZjDx1q9VTEtDHAr93o2Kiw&index=12

Othello game board
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)

The piece holders has their nicknames on them. We haven't had the opportunity to try the new improved board out yet. Al

Birthday gift thanks to LJ!
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
This is a “full-circle” project, even though the circle is pretty small. About a month ago I saw a box on Pinterest that caught my attention. After a few clicks, I found myself on the Lumberjocks website, (which I promptly joined). My daughter's birthday was last week and I decided to try my own take on that box as a gift for her just to see if I could make it. (Thanks Klaus for the inspiration!!) I was very pleased with the result and she loved it.I really appreciate this community for sharing designs and projects that can spark interest and get us to think outside the box (even if it is in making a box!)Glad to be part of the group.Solid oak sides, walnut accents, and the top has a beauty that the camera can't capture. Almost looks alive as the light catches it from different angles. Beautiful piece of wood.
