My dog's bed

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

My dog's bedI thought I would share some pictures of my dog Lily's new bed. It is made out of pine with a plywood bottom. I cut handles in the ends to move it easily and I painted it a nice raspberry color. She was using a cardboard box for a bed and I thought that I could make her something nicer. It was a fun little project and she loves her new bed.

rolling wood cart

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

rolling wood cartbuilt this rolling cart with as much shop scrap wood as possible (3/4” full sheet of plywood is close to $80!!!)plywood on the left side, solid wood on the right
it's ok and does its job of storing all the misc wood in the garage, but if plywood wasn't so expensive, i'd have made it out of thatwith all the wood, the cart weighs a TON :)i think it's the first time i didn't need to buy locking casters

sander rolling storage stand

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

sander rolling storage standmy sander had been bolted to a piece of plywood which was bolted to a regular old steel stand that was included in some tool or another. hated that stand; to move the sander, i had to scrape the stand along the garage floor an inch at a time.found this 1/2” sanded plywood at lowes a few days ago for just $30 a full sheet! bought 2 sheets, and asked the guys if they'd quarter it for me.it had this pretty cool stripe of color that i tried to keep for the drawer fronts.this little stand works out great. full extension slides on the drawers, full overlay rounded-edge fronts. 3/4 plywood top edge trimmed in pine. i gave the top a 1” overhang as a handy place to clamp.til now, my sandpaper was in the top drawer of the planer stand, the orbital was sometimes under the workbench, sometimes not, no clue where the sander belt was ;)now all the sandpaper, sanding blocks, sander, disks, and belts are all together and i'm a happy camperPS ordinarily, this thing is COVERED in sawdust, but i rolled it out in the driveway, used my ego blower and cleaned it up
