My Boys First Mallet

My 8yr old boy asked me for a “sledge hammer” to use in the shop with me. By that he meant a mallet like the ones I use. So we set about making one with him helping on every step. He helped cut, drill, sand and glue up his new mallet and is pretty proud of it. It's made of maple with a padauk wedge. Simple blo finish. Thanks for looking.
