Steve Good pattern. The Fairy Tree Association of southern Virginia contacted me to build Fairy Tree houses for new faires moving into or neighborhood. I have been contracted to build 12 units. the doors are done for 4 units. I am waiting for the indoor plumbing to be completed before installing the front doors.

1st cnc project!

I recently finished a maple table (posted a couple of days ago). Because of the size of the table, I thought it might be handy to have a matching lazy susan, so, with the gigantic table out of my garage/shop, I was finally able to set up the Yeti smart bench cnc I bought about a month ago. First project – cut out the circle for the lazy susan. It worked! The square walnut dowels are in keeping with the theme of the table and will also serve as little grab handles to spin the turntable. 16 diameter.

Scrap wood cutting boards

Decided I needed to start burning through my scrap pile over the next year or so in preparation for moving so my daughter and I made a few quick cutting boards. Walnut, maple, curly maple, paduak and Purple Heart. Sanded to 320 then raised grain and re sanded to 400 then applied a few coats of tried and true.
