Jointer Mallet

Had 50+ year old Japanese maple that fell 7 years ago. Cut it up into 5' pieces and left on the ground to spalt. Last summer milled it up. Had this 1 chunk with crazy grain and neat spalting. So made my 1st mallet styled after the one Paul Sellers makes.

Three Bin Card Carousel

This is a different version of the card carousels I make for playing Hand and Foot. They usually have 5 bins but I experimented with 3 bins..with the side bins each holding 4 decks and with the discard bin elevated in the middle. It is mounted 3” lazy Susan bearing.It is 6” x 10 1/2” x 5 1/4” high, made from cherry and finished with semi gloss lacquer.This is the last project from the Arizona shop for me! We usually get the native woods….Mesquite, Pecan or Pistachio but someone scrapped some raised panel doors and all the panels were cherry. Cheers, Jim
