Dining Room Table

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

Dining Room Table Finally finished a table for our dining room. We needed something smaller than a standard table so I convinced my wife to let me give it a go. She wanted something about kitchen counter height so we could use the seats we had been using at the counter. The table is 3 feet square made of curly maple. Legs Re pine painted white, all mortise and tenon joints. I'm pleased with how solid it turned out. The hole in the center, I went thru a pile of ideas from some kind of inlay to acrylic pour with river rocks. We settled on having a custom stained glass made at a local shop that will fit in the hole. I'll update pictures when it's finished. I used a lite cherry stain on the maple, I showed my wife several finish choices, and the cherry is what she liked. Gloss poly on top.Chris
