Spalted maple live edge desk

Used a live edge piece of spalted maple for the top. The skirt is ambrosia maple and the legs I made out of walnut. Always like the combination of maple and walnut.

WOODEN SIGN

Wooden sign ''Fishing house…'' 200×50x2.5 cm, larch. Two 25cm boards glued together with biscuits. Live edge was completely made by 30 degree tilted jigsaw, burned with small gas torch. Letters and fishes were carved by small router, 6mm straight bit, coloured black, some part of fish made with pyrograph. Finish – stained with oak coloured stain. On 8 points, inside letters, I drilled holes to mount on a wall. I gave customer black headed screwes so the will not be visible.

Simple bud vase

Had a couple logs of an old apple tree. I just want to make something. Used a friction finish and do not like it very much. I need to find something just as easy and more durable.
