SPOONS FOR POPPA, MAMMA, and BABY BEAR- Honey Suckle Wood.
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
Getting ready for a spoon carving class at Lee Valley Tools in November. Challenge for the class will be to carve three spoons and a container.. I have the joy of using any kind of wood and any kind of shape. Should be a fun day of carving. This wood was given to me by my neighbour who was cleaning up some of his tree growth and expansion. The wood was too small for a boot carving plus it had twisted and split on me while being seasoned. Finished with a spray on varnish.Hope Goldilocks likes the set.Enjoy. Comments welcome.

Wall plaque
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
The GYM I attend (Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping) we wear a device, around our chests, that tracks the level of exertion during each out workout session. The device also broadcasts real time feed to a monitor in the classroom the wearer and others know the level of exertion they are working at. This device, MyZone, keeps track of our workouts by the day, by month and by year(s). In order to have a successful month we must achieve a minimum amount of exertion points. As these points accumulate we achieve higher and higher levels of status within MyZone. The top status is “Hall of Fame” which requires 48 months of dedicated workout/exertion points. This wall plaque is to honor those that have achieved this level. As an individual reaches HoF level they fill out a card and attach to the chain hanging below. I hope to see many many cards in the near future. The plaque has a little bit of metal (aluminum) work that I am completely a novice at.
